Tour of Marlborough

Postcard of Marlborough

Marlborough is the perfect destination to combine a bit of culture with a dash of relaxation. It’s a picturesque town in Wiltshire, on the old coaching route midway between London and Bristol. The town recently celebrated its 800th anniversary and it’s steeped in history. We like to take our visitors to a beautiful 17th century merchant's house, built after the Great Fire of Marlborough in 1653.

You’ll also enjoy the thriving markets, and if you time your trip well, there’s a Jazz Festival in July and a Food Festival in October. Plus you’ll love the continental feel, with pavement cafes giving the area a real buzz… this is the perfect place to unwind with a cuppa. And the scones are almost compulsory.
